Andrew “Andy” Girvin is the integrated supply chain leader and plant manager for Hopewell, AdvanSix’s largest manufacturing site. He is responsible for worker safety, environmental safety and compliance, project and facility cost, and production and procedure. Through the incredible challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, Andy kept operations running with the plant never shutting down. He has worked for AdvanSix and its legacy companies for nearly 30 years, holding roles on the supply chain and capital engineering teams before ascending to his current role as plant manager. Andy received a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Virginia. He is an active member of the Hopewell community, serving as president of the Hopewell Manufacturers Association and a Member of the Board for the Virginia Manufacturers Association. He also sits on the Commission for Hopewell Water Renewal and is a member of the Hopewell Rotary.
