David J. Webb

David J. Webb, Ph.D. has a diverse work experience spanning several companies. David J. is currently employed at AdvanSix as a Principal Engineering Program Manager since October 2018. Prior to this, they worked at DuPont where they held various roles such as Senior Maintenance & Engineering Manager, Global Maintenance Leader, Maintenance & Reliability Engineering Manager, Reliability Engineer, and Process Engineer between 2010 and 2018. Before joining DuPont, they worked as a Mechanical Engineer at Philip Morris USA from 2005 to 2009.

David J. Webb, Ph.D. holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Virginia Commonwealth University - College of Engineering. David J. received their Ph.D. degree between 2002 and 2005. Prior to their Ph.D., they obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from the same institution, achieving it between 2001 and 2002. Webb's bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering was also obtained from Virginia Commonwealth University - College of Engineering, which they completed between 1998 and 2001. In addition to their academic qualifications, Webb has obtained several certifications including a Project Team Leader certification from Axalta in 2015, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (ICGB) certification from DuPont in 2011, and a Root Cause Failure Analysis certification from DuPont in 2010.
