Simon Heintz

Simon Heintz is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in electrification and thermodynamics related to powertrain systems. Currently serving as the Electrification Engineering Operations Manager at Garrett - Advancing Motion since October 2018, Simon leads multiple development programs focused on new product innovation. Previously held roles include Technical Program Manager for fuel cell electrification products and E-Boosting Powertrain System Leader, where responsibilities encompassed technical supervision and program management. Prior professional experience includes positions at Honeywell, Liebherr Machine Bulle SA, Ford Motor Company, Faurecia, and Daimler, along with internships and research roles. Simon holds a Master of Science in Powertrain from IFP School and Master’s degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology and Arts et Métiers.
