Carmo Poloni is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in agricultural research and development, currently serving as the Brazil R&D Head and Project Leader at Advanta Seeds since February 2015. In this role, Carmo oversees the R&D programs for various crops including corn and sorghum, while coordinating global projects focusing on GMO and GMO-free markets. Prior to this, Carmo contributed to Monsanto Company as a Corn Breeder, leading the implementation of the Center Safrinha Corn Breeding Program, and developed the full North Safrinha Corn Breeding Program at Dow AgroSciences. Carmo began a career in product and market development at Mitsui Chemicals Group, specializing in sustainable agricultural solutions. Education includes a Master of Business Administration from UNIBTA and a Master's in Genetics & Biotechnology from Escola Superior de Agricultura "Luiz de Queiroz."
