Carsten Poettker

Carsten Poettker has over 25 years of experience in manufacturing and production management, currently serving as the Director of Manufacturing Texture & Healthful Solutions Europe at Ingredion Incorporated since April 2010. Previous roles include Manufacturing Director Europe and Site Manager at Ingredion, as well as Production Manager at National Starch Food Innovation. Carsten began a career in production at L'Oréal, where positions included Production Unit Manager and Packaging Supervisor. Prior to that, a tenure at Degussa AG involved work as a Process & Project Engineer. Carsten Poettker holds a Diplom Ingenieur degree in Mechanical Engineering and Process Engineering from Technische Universität Braunschweig and has also studied at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology.
