Stefan Stantejsky

Stefan Stantejsky currently serves as the Deputy Trade Commissioner and Deputy Head of Advantage Austria in New York since September 2021. Previously, Stefan held the position of Deputy Director of the Austrian Commercial Office and Deputy Head of Advantage Austria in Taiwan from October 2018 to September 2021, and prior to that was the Commercial Attaché and Deputy Head of Advantage Austria in Poland from September 2013 to September 2018, which included a 10-month pre-posting training at the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber in Vienna. Stefan's experience also includes a consultancy role at the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights in late 2012, a public relations internship at UNITAR’s Multilateral Diplomacy Programme, and positions within the European External Action Service and the Austrian Federal Chancellery. Stefan holds a Master's degree in International Affairs from the Geneva Graduate Institute and a Master of Laws from the University of Vienna, complemented by studies at Renmin University of China and Paris-Pantheon-Assas University.
