Richard Hill has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Richard began their career in 2013 at University Health Shreveport as a Wound, Ostomy, Continence Nurse, where they worked for six years before moving on to Natchitoches Regional Medical Center. At Natchitoches Regional Medical Center, Richard served as both a Nurse Practitioner and an Inpatient Wound Care Nurse from 2019 to 2022. Richard then joined Advantage Surgical and Wound Care in 2022 as a Wound Care Nurse Practitioner.

Richard Hill's education history includes:

- From 2006 to 2008, Richard attended Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Pre-Medicine/Pre-Medical Studies.

- From 2010 to 2013, Richard studied at Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady University and obtained an Associate of Science degree in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse.

- Starting in 2018 and ending in 2021, Richard attended Simmons University, where they obtained a Master of Science degree in Nursing with a specialization in Family Nurse Practitioner.

In addition to their formal education, Richard has also obtained various certifications. Richard became a Certified Wound Care Nurse (CWCN) through the Wound, Ostomy, and Continence Nurses Society™ (WOCN®) in June 2018. Richard also acquired the certification of Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) from the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board (AANPCB) in June 2021. Furthermore, they obtained the Advanced Practice Registered Nurse credential from the Louisiana State Board of Nursing in August 2021, and they became a Registered Nurse through the same board in June 2013.
