Lisa Karhu

Lisa Karhu has a diverse background in management, operations, and services. Lisa began their career in 1993 as Manager of Client Services at Direct Feedback/Shareholder Services, Inc. where they coordinated the drafting and design of customer shareholder documents, reviewed customer corporate documents to develop training materials, and conducted proxy solicitations. In 1999, they joined FreeMarkets as a Project Manager, where they managed existing and pilot customer relationships, created RFQ documents, and distributed RFQ documents to suppliers. Lisa was promoted to Manager of Operations Delivery in the same company in 2003, where they were responsible for capacity planning, load balancing, and evaluating potential sourcing projects. Lisa then served as Vice President and Manager of Sourcing Operations at Mellon Financial from 2004 to 2007, and Vice President and Senior Sourcing Manager at The Bank of New York Mellon Corporation from 2007 to 2012. In 2012, they joined UPMC as Senior Category Lead, and in 2016 they became Senior Category Lead at Pensiamo. In 2017, they returned to UPMC as Project Manager of Quality Analytics and in 2019 they joined Advanticom as Senior Manager of Service Operations and Senior Project Manager. In 2014, they also worked as a Certified Health Coach at Nutrition+Wellness, LLC.

Lisa Karhu obtained a B.S. in Marketing from Indiana University of Pennsylvania between 1986 and 1990. In May 2020, they obtained an ITIL 4 Foundation Level certification from AXELOS Global Best Practice. In May 2014, they obtained a Certified Health Coach certification from the Dr. Sears Wellness Institute.
