Bee Koen Low has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry. They began their career at Phoqus Pharmaceuticals plc, where they held roles as a Product Development Scientist and later as a Senior Product Development Scientist.
In 2005, Low joined GW Pharmaceuticals plc as a Senior Pharmaceutical Development Scientist. In this role, they developed novel formulations for new products, conducted scale up and validation processes, and prepared technical reports for regulatory applications. They later became the Pharmaceutical Development Team Leader, overseeing multiple projects and leading a team of scientists and technicians.
In 2014, Low joined AMCo (formerly Amdipharm Mercury Ltd) as a Senior Technical Project Manager. Their responsibilities included managing projects using various project management tools, performing risk analysis, and controlling budgets. They also facilitated technology transfers between different contract manufacturing organizations (CMOs) and introduced new active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) sources for globally marketed products.
From 2016 to 2018, Low worked at Concordia International (formerly AMCo) as the Technical Operations Team Manager. In this role, they managed a team responsible for various technical and project management tasks, including new API development, technology transfer, and process optimization. They also had oversight of budget management at the project level.
Most recently, Low has been working at ADVANZ PHARMA since 2018. They started as the Head of Technical Project Management before transitioning to the role of Director, Operations Diligence and Integration in April 2022.
