Federica Basso

Federica Basso has extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Federica currently holds the position of Market Access & Government Affairs Director at ADVANZ PHARMA since July 2022. Prior to that, they worked as the Director of Market Access at Intercept Pharmaceuticals from February 2020 to July 2022. Federica also served as the Head of Market Access Centro Italia and Head of Value & Access at AstraZeneca from 2017 to 2020. Before that, they worked as a Value Access & Policy Sr Manager at Amgen from 2014 to 2017. Federica's earlier roles include Health Economics & Outcomes Research Manager for Central & Eastern Europe at Boehringer Ingelheim from 2010 to 2014, and Health Technology Assessment Specialist at GlaxoSmithKline Pharma from 2009 to 2010. Federica began their career as a Pharmacist at a Private Pharmacy from 2004 to 2007.

Federica Basso attended the Vienna School of Clinical Research in 2010, where they studied Drug Pricing & Reimbursement Policy. From 2009 to 2010, they completed a one-year course in Medical Statistics at the Università degli Studi di Modena e Reggio Emilia. In 2006 and 2007, they obtained a Master's degree in Pharmacovigilance from the Università degli Studi di Milano. Federica'sundergraduate studies were in Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Technologies at the Università degli Studi di Padova, which they completed from 1998 to 2004. Additionally, they pursued an European Market Access Diploma (EMAUD) in 2011.
