Colleen Stewart

Colleen Stewart, CIP, currently serves as Team Lead and Senior Specialist in Meeting Coordination at Advarra, where responsibilities include managing IRB meetings and ensuring compliance with federal regulations. Prior to joining Advarra in November 2020, Colleen Stewart held various roles at UT Health San Antonio, including Institutional Regulatory Reviewer for the IRB, where complex human subjects research protocols were evaluated, and Research Compliance Coordinator Senior, which involved enhancing regulatory processes. Colleen Stewart began a career in research compliance as a Research Area Specialist, coordinating networks and educating professionals in practice-based research. Colleen Stewart holds a Master of Arts in Childhood and Youth Studies from the University of Sussex and a Bachelor of Arts in Brain and Cognitive Sciences from the University of Rochester, supplemented by a study abroad program at the University of Sussex.
