James Riddle

James Riddle has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. James currently holds the position of Senior Vice President - Global Review Operations at Advarra since November 2023. In their previous roles at Advarra, they served as Vice President, Research Services & Strategic Consulting from October 2020 to December 2023, and as Vice President, Institutional Services from April 2019 to October 2020.

Aside from their work at Advarra, James is also involved in other organizations. James serves as a Board Member at CLINICOM, a company that provides online mental health assessment tools. James has been a Board Member at Northwest Association for Biomedical Research since June 2012.

Earlier in their career, James held the position of Vice President - Kinetiq, the Consulting Division of Quorum Review IRB at Kinetiq (now Advarra) from April 2016 to April 2019. James also worked as an Assistant Director - Institutional Review Office at Fred Hutch from March 2009 to April 2016. Prior to that, they were the Chief Financial Officer at Symons Frozen Foods from March 2008 to March 2009.

James' experience also includes roles at Western Institutional Review Board as Vice President, Operations from March 2003 to March 2008 and as Director, Information Technology from May 1999 to March 2003. James served as a Regional Manager, Information Services at SUPERVALU from March 1998 to May 1999, and as a Manager, Information Systems at Olympic Health Management Systems from January 1994 to March 1998.

James Riddle holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting with an emphasis in Computer Science from Western Washington University. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications throughout their career, including Leadership Mindsets from LinkedIn in 2022, Clinical Research Quality Manager (CRQM) from the Quality Management Institute in 2017, Certified Professional IACUC Administrator (CPIA) from Public Responsibility in Medicine and Research (PRIM&R) in 2013, Certified IRB Professional (CIP) from Public Responsibility in Medicine & Research (PRIM&R) in 2004, and Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) from Microsoft Corporation in 1999.
