Annika Hansson

Annika Hansson has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and industries. In 2012, they worked as an Au Pair before transitioning to a role as a Writer at Information Arbetsmarknad AB in 2014. Annika then worked as a Teacher at Smart Studies in 2016 and as a Nursing Assistant at Karlskrona kommun from 2016 to 2017.

In 2017, Annika took on a Summer Internship at Qvantel and also worked as a Teacher Assistant at Blekinge Institute of Technology from 2015 to 2018. During this time, they also worked as a Web Application Analyst and completed a Master Thesis Project at Outpost24.

In 2018, Annika joined Axis Communications as a Test Engineer, where they focused on quality assurance functional testing, security testing, and creating customized automatic tests for the firmware. Annika also contributed to general security work, including threat models, countermeasures, and verification options. Annika later became an Experienced Test Engineer at Axis, specializing in security testing, compliance-driven testing, and manual pentesting. Annika concluded their role at Axis in December 2021.

Currently, Annika is working as a Software Development Engineer at Advenica AB, starting in January 2022.

Annika Hansson has an extensive education history that includes a Master's degree, language studies, and a technical program. Annika obtained a Degree of Master of Science in Engineering with a specialization in Computer Security from Blekinge Institute of Technology, where they studied from 2013 to 2018. Prior to that, Annika attended Institute Fazel in 2012 to study the French language. In 2009, they completed the Technical Science Program at Polhemskolan, Lund, earning a Studentexamen. Additionally, in 2010, Annika attended the EF Executive Language Institute to further their studies in the French language.

In addition to their academic achievements, Annika has also obtained several certifications. In 2019, they received the Foundation Level Certificate in Software Testing from the ISTQB (International Software Testing Qualifications Board). Annika also obtained certification in "Attacking and Securing APIs" from Black Hat in December 2019. Most recently, in March 2021, Annika completed the "Pink Programming Sunday Digital + Axis" certification program offered by Pink Programming.
