Patrik Nyhill

Senior Digital Design Engineer at Advenica AB

Patrik Nyhill has a strong background in engineering, with a focus on digital design and validation. Patrik has worked in various roles for different companies throughout their career.

Starting in 2004, Nyhill worked as a Piping and Plant Engineer for Midroc Engineering AB. During this time, they were involved in several projects, including designing a new reactor level system for the Ringhals Nuclear Plant and creating a purifying facility for oil-contaminated drainage water for Statoil.

In 2006, Nyhill joined Ingenjörsfirman Rörkraft AB as a Piping and Industrial Plant Engineer. Here, they initiated projects that utilized 3D tools and took responsibility for designing pressurized piping for two new heat and power plants. Patrik was also outsourced to Södra Cell Mörrum for a major reconstruction of the feed water system.

In 2007, Nyhill moved to BitSim AB, where they served as an FPGA and ASIC Designer. Patrik worked on designing and developing integrated circuits until 2009.

From 2008 to 2009, Nyhill worked at Ericsson Mobile Platforms as an ASIC Design Engineer, focusing on the development of application-specific integrated circuits.

Starting in 2009, Nyhill joined ST-Ericsson & Ericsson Modems and held multiple roles. Patrik started as a HW Designer for six months before becoming an ASIC Validation Engineer. In this role, they were responsible for validating application-specific integrated circuits. Patrik remained in this position until 2015.

In 2015, Nyhill joined Ericsson as an ASIC Developer. Patrik worked on developing application-specific integrated circuits until 2018.

Since 2018, Nyhill has been employed as a Senior Digital Design Engineer at Advenica AB, where they continue to utilize their expertise in digital design.

Patrik Nyhill pursued their higher education from 1997 to 2002 at Halmstad University, where they obtained a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Electrical Engineering. In 2000, they briefly attended the University of Newcastle for Free Courses in Mathematics, Physics, Programming, and English.
