Leo Schmidt

Leo Schmidt, CFA, has a diverse work experience spanning over 30 years. Leo is currently serving as the Chief Investment Officer at River Eddy Capital Management, where they manage capital for private investors. Prior to this, Leo held various positions at The Chubb Corporation, including Vice President Senior Equity Analyst, where they managed a $1.9 billion equity portfolio. Leo also worked at Advent Capital Management, Nuveen Investments, Reich & Tang Asset Management, and PricewaterhouseCoopers, where they gained valuable experience in investment management and analysis.

Leo Schmidt, CFA completed their undergraduate education at Columbia University from 1984 to 1990. Leo pursued a double major in Economics and History during this time, earning a BA degree. Following their undergraduate studies, Leo pursued further education at NYU Stern School of Business, where they obtained an MBA degree in 1991, specializing in Finance and Accounting.

Additionally, Leo Schmidt obtained the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification from the CFA Institute in September 2000. This certification signifies their expertise in investment analysis and portfolio management.
