Sarath Akkineni joined Advent in 2022. He will be responsible for Advent Global Service Desk, championing high service levels and ensuring the business is supported and assisted where possible. Prior to joining Advent, Sarath spent twelve years at Acadian Asset Management in Boston, where he managed Strategic Planning & Program Management, Software Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, and Global User Engineering functions. Prior to Acadian, Sarath founded and managed an Information Technology firm that provided solutions and services to various firms across industry verticals, including Baker Hughes, Bank of America, Fidelity, Biogen, and others.
Sarath holds an MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management and an MS in Computer Science & Engineering from Arizona State University.
