Michael Austin

Michael Austin is an experienced professional in the healthcare finance sector, currently serving as the Manager of Billing at AdventHealth since July 2017. In this role, Michael manages a team focused on achieving financial goals and supporting hospital operations. Previously, Michael held the position of Director of Patient Financial Services at AdventHealth Central Florida for a brief period in late 2022 and served as a Revenue Cycle Operations Subject Matter Expert at Florida Hospital from August 2013 to July 2017, where responsibilities included advising on insurance billing for a new patient accounting platform. Michael began the career as a Billing Assistant Manager and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business/Managerial Economics from UCF College of Business, earned from 2001 to 2007.
