Amanda Garabedian has a diverse work experience in the credit union industry, starting with their role as Lending Manager at Community Schools Credit Union from 2005 to 2013. During this time, they managed loan portfolios, analyzed market trends, trained staff, and participated in strategic planning conferences. Amanda then served as Chief Operating Officer at First General Credit Union from 2013 to 2015. Following this, they worked at CUProdigy as AVP Conversion Services from 2015 to 2019. Most recently, they held the positions of Chief Operations Officer and now President/CEO at Adventure Credit Union from 2019, with their current role as President/CEO starting in February 2023.
Amanda Garabedian holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Business Administration and Management, General, which they obtained from Grand Valley State University in 2011. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, and General Business from Western Michigan University, graduating in 2003. Additionally, Amanda has obtained a certification as a Certified Scrum Master in November 2015 and is also a Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) through the Scrum Alliance.
