Bob Cowdrick is an experienced professional with a diverse background in leadership, conservation, and business consulting. Currently serving as President of the Benton MacKaye Trail Association since November 2020, Bob focuses on the accessibility and sustainability of the Benton MacKaye Trail, advocating for its designation as a National Scenic Trail while engaging with local communities and ensuring the organization's financial stability. Additionally, as Georgia Director of Trail Maintenance, Bob coordinates outreach and mobilizes over 800 volunteers for trail maintenance. Bob's role as a Timber Tracker for Adventure Scientists involves sample collection and data reporting for Eastern Black Walnut and White Oak. Previous experience includes authoring the Trail Tales book series, serving as a Senior Business Consultant at Logility Inc., and holding various consulting positions in technology and manufacturing. Bob holds a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Maine and a Master’s in Industrial Engineering from Purdue University.
