Tony Hale is an accomplished advertising executive with extensive experience in leadership roles across various organizations. Currently serving as CEO of Advertising Council Australia since December 2014, Hale has previously held significant positions including Chairman of The Readership Works, where a readership measurement system was established, and CEO of The Newspaper Works, which became the peak body for the newspaper industry in Australia. Earlier experience includes serving as Director at Clemenger BBDO and The Campaign Palace, one of Australia’s leading creative agencies, as well as founding and directing Hale & Collins Advertising Pty Ltd. Tony Hale holds a BA in Economics, Politics, Communication & Mass Media from Macquarie University.
