Michael Callanta

Michael Callanta has extensive work experience in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries. Michael is currently serving as the Director of Clinical QA at Adverum Biotechnologies. Prior to this, they worked as the Director of Project Quality Oversight and Global Quality Systems at Premier Research from 2019 to 2022. Michael also held the position of Director of Quality Assurance at Regulatory Professionals, Inc. from 2018 to 2019. Before that, they served as the Associate Director of Quality Assurance at Audentes Therapeutics from 2016 to 2018. Michael has also worked as a Quality Compliance Manager at Cellerant Therapeutics from 2013 to 2016 and in Regulatory Compliance and Supplier Quality Management at Impax Laboratories from 2010 to 2013. Earlier in their career, they held roles in Quality Assurance at MAP Pharmaceuticals from 2005 to 2010 and in Quality Control at Lynx Therapeutics from 2001 to 2005.

Michael Callanta received their Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Science from San Jose State University in 2000. Michael later pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Cal State East Bay- College of Business & Economics, which they completed in 2005.
