Peter Soparkar

Peter Soparkar is an accomplished legal and operational executive with extensive experience in the biotechnology and pharmaceuticals sectors. Currently serving as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Legal Officer at Adverum Biotechnologies, Inc. since October 2019, Peter has previously held the position of Chief Legal Officer and Head of People at Counsyl from July 2016 to September 2018. Prior to that, Peter was the Vice President and Associate General Counsel at Jazz Pharmaceuticals from November 2006 to July 2016. Peter's career began at Latham & Watkins as an Associate from 2002 to 2006. Peter holds a Juris Doctor from New York University School of Law, earned in 2002, and a Bachelor's degree from Oberlin College, obtained in 1992.
