James Scott Wolfe has a diverse work experience. James Scott began their career in 1999 as a Purchasing Manager at Metaldyne, where they supported multiple manufacturing plants across North America. In 2004, they joined ADVICS North America, Inc. as a Purchasing Manager and later became a Senior Manager in Corporate Planning. In this role, they consolidated activities and relocated the Corporate Headquarters to ADVICS' largest manufacturing plant. From 2011 to 2021, they served as the Director of Corporate Planning, leading teams in multiple states and Mexico. Recently, they have taken on the role of Vice President, overseeing Risk Management and HR/GA at ADVICS. Additionally, since 2018, they have been an Adjunct Faculty member at Sinclair Community College.

James Scott Wolfe completed their Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management from Michigan State University between 1987 and 1991. Later, between 1999 and 2001, they pursued their Master's in Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in International Finance from the University of Michigan-Flint. In addition to their formal education, James Scott Wolfe obtained several certifications. In 1997, they became Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) through the Association for Supply Chain Management. Furthermore, they achieved the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) Certification from the HR Certification Institute in May 2011, followed by the SHRM-SCP certification from SHRM in March 2015.
