Darren Gideon

Darren Gideon has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of design and development. Darren started their career in 1997 as a Senior Web Designer at Capstone Studio, Inc. Darren then worked as a Web Designer, Sr. at Visual Fire, Inc. from 2000 to 2001 and as a Senior Web Designer / Web Developer at Forte Interactive, Inc. in 2001. From 2002 to 2004, they served as the Studio Director / Creative Director at WePerform.com.

In 2004, Darren joined Medical Staffing Network as an HTML / UI Developer, where they were involved in UI design, web development, and graphic design. Darren also worked as a Team Lead and provided technical writing and documentation for various projects.

From 2005 to 2007, Darren worked at Blue Frog Solutions, Inc. as a UI Designer / Web Developer. Here, they performed UI/UX analysis, design, and implementation for web-based applications. Darren also handled UI and web design, branding, and maintained corporate websites.

Darren then joined Citrix in 2007 as a Web UI Developer contractor through TekPartners. Darren later became the Lead Web UI Developer from 2008 to 2013, and subsequently, the Principal Web UI Developer until 2015.

Since 2015, Darren has been working at AdvisorEngine as a Senior Product Designer & Scrum Master. Darren previously held the role of UX Designer / UI Developer & Scrum Master from 2018 to 2019. Darren'sresponsibilities included defining best practices, user experience design, interaction design, user interface design, graphic design, and user research.

Darren Gideon completed their high school education at Boca Raton Academy from 1984 to 1987, earning a High School Diploma with a focus on History. Darren then pursued higher education at The George Washington University from 1987 to 1992, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in History. In addition, Darren Gideon obtained a Certified Scrum Master certification from the Scrum Alliance in March 2010.
