Melanie Santos Grant

Melanie Santos Grant is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in private equity, legal consulting, and corporate transformation. As the Founder and Managing Partner of 2ndGenPartners LLC since January 2020, Melanie leads a woman-led independent sponsor focused on agribusiness and healthcare investments. Concurrently, Melanie serves as an Advisor at AdvisoryCloud and Co-Founder of Gold Scarf Productions Women with Grace and Grit. With a background in transaction consulting through Melanie Grant LLC, previous roles include Principal at Escalatus, Chief Transformation Officer at Burlington Coat Factory, and legal positions at ARAMARK and Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP. Melanie began a career at Goldman Sachs, progressing from analyst to associate within the Fixed Income division. Academically, Melanie holds a J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law and a B.A. in Political Science from Rutgers University.
