Caitlyn Harris was raised in Lafayette, Louisiana, and attended Louisiana State University. She received a BS in Political Science in 2018. Upon graduation, Caitlyn moved to Nashville, Tennessee where she attended Belmont University College of Law.
During her time in law school, Caitlyn worked with the Southern Higher Education in Prison Collective to create a comprehensive guide to the parole hearing process in the State of Tennessee. The guide that she created will be used to educate not only those individuals seeking parole, but also attorneys who are seeking to represent those individuals on a pro bono basis. Her goal for this guide was to inform individuals of their rights and prepare them for the process of reentering society.
