Chris Barlament

Chris Barlament joined the team at Advocacy Trust in May of 2018 as a Trust Officer. He brought with him nearly ten years of Financial Services experience including insurance, financial planning, brokerage, banking, trust and client services.

Prior to joining Advocacy, Chris was a Client Service Manager for the Trust & Wealth Management division at United Bank. During this time, he trained and lead multifunctional teams to enhance customer support needs for accounts ranging from special needs trusts to retirement plans.

Chris earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from West Virginia University. Upon graduation, Chris accepted a financial representative position at Northwestern Mutual and returned to his hometown of Vienna, WV.

Chris enjoys spending quality time with family and friends and is an avid sports fan and competitive golfer. By volunteering at local elementary schools through The First Tee of West Virginia, Chris gives back to the same community that benefitted him by teaching children values like honesty, respect, and perseverance.
