Alyson Edwards

Alyson Edwards is an accomplished professional in cybersecurity and information security, currently serving as the Associate Vice President of Cybersecurity at Advocate Health since May 2023. Previously, Edwards held various leadership roles at Atrium Health, including Director of Enterprise Cybersecurity Governance, Risk and Compliance, and Cybersecurity Engineer in Governance, Risk and Compliance. With a background in customer success and program management at Stratifyd, Edwards championed high user adoption and implemented tools such as Salesforce and ChurnZero. Prior roles at Cardinal Innovations Healthcare included Information Security Director and IT Service Delivery Director, where significant improvements in security and service management were achieved. Edwards began an early career with the City of Charlotte as an eLearning Developer and Content Webmaster. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Zoology from Mars Hill University and a certificate in Instructional Design from UC Irvine.
