Peter Stephens

Peter Stephens is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in automotive product security and systems engineering. Currently serving as Chief Vehicle Security Architect and Technical Fellow at Lucid Motors since February 2025, Peter has previously held significant roles at Harman/Becker Automotive Systems, where responsibilities included embedded product security analysis and design. Prior experience includes work as a Research Engineer at Delphi Automotive Systems, focusing on hardware and software development ahead of production, and roles as an Electrical Engineer at both Delphi and Delco Electronics, emphasizing quality and testing. Peter’s academic background includes a Master’s degree in Reliability Engineering from the University of Maryland and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Michigan-Dearborn.
