Donald Jonas

Donald Jonas is a seasoned leader in healthcare and social impact, currently serving as Vice President of Social Impact at Advocate Health since September 2023. With extensive experience in addressing social drivers of health, Jonas previously held the role of Assistant Vice President for Social Strategy & Impact at Atrium Health, where initiatives focused on affordable housing and food insecurity were developed. An educator, Donald Jonas has taught at both the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and Queens University of Charlotte. Leadership roles include Executive Director at Care Ring, President of Jonas Philanthropy Advisors, and Executive Director at the Presbyterian Hospital Foundation under Novant Health. With a Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of Kentucky, Jonas possesses a strong academic foundation complemented by earlier research experience at the Hudson Institute.
