Kris Shepard is an accomplished legal and healthcare executive with extensive experience in clinical enterprise development and physician partnerships. Currently serving as Senior Vice President at Advocate Health since September 2023, Kris has previously held multiple leadership roles at Atrium Health from June 2008 to December 2023, including Senior Vice President for Medical Group Business Development and Vice President for Physician Network Development. Prior to that, Kris practiced law as Senior Associate General Counsel at Robinson Bradshaw. Kris holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from the University of Virginia School of Law, a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in American History from Emory University, and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in American History from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
