Rebecca Wilkie is an accomplished legal and management professional with extensive experience in leadership roles within the charity and legal sectors. Currently serving as Chief Executive Officer of Advocate since July 2020, Rebecca also holds the position of Vice Chair at Money Advice Trust since September 2018. Previous roles include Chief Executive of Advocate (August 2007 - June 2015), Trustee at The Advice Services Alliance (2008 - 2015) and Blackfriars Settlement (2005 - 2012), and Clinics Project Manager at LawWorks (2003 - 2007). Rebecca began as a Trainee Solicitor at Hogan Lovells (2001 - 2003). Academically, Rebecca holds a Master's degree in Voluntary Sector Management from Cass Business School and a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from Durham University.

Advocate is a charity which acts as a clearing house finding pro bono (free) legal assistance from volunteer barristers for individuals and organisations who need legal help but cannot afford to pay for it and who are not covered by public funding. We assist with: - Advice, representation and help at mediation - Cases in all legal areas - Cases where proceedings have not yet been started - Cases in all tribunals and courts in England and Wales
