Dani Kirby

Dani Kirby is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in behavioral health policy and program management. Currently serving as the Director and previously as Deputy Director at Advocates for Human Potential, Inc. since June 2022, Dani has a solid background in consulting through Kirby Solutions from August 2009 to June 2022, focusing on small business and non-profit solutions related to substance use disorders. Dani's operational expertise was further demonstrated as Director of Operations at A Bridge Back from August 2021 to January 2022, an organization dedicated to harm reduction and Dual Diagnosis Treatment. Prior roles at the Illinois Department of Human Services included Chief of Staff, where oversight of key initiatives such as the Statewide Overdose Action Plan was provided. Dani holds a Master of Education from Northwestern University, a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology from the University of Illinois Chicago, and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Carroll University.
