Jamie Golombek

Jamie Golombek is a seasoned expert in tax and estate planning, currently serving as Managing Director in that field at CIBC since July 2008. With a strong background in journalism, Jamie has contributed as a Tax Columnist for National Post, Inc. since 2002 and has been a Columnist for Advocis since 1998. Academic involvement includes a part-time lecturer role at the Schulich School of Business at York University from 2002 to April 2022. Previous leadership positions include Chair of the PAC at the UJA Federation of Greater Toronto from 2008 to 2010. Jamie's extensive professional experience also encompasses significant roles at Invesco Trimark, Deloitte, PwC Canada, and a summer position at Maclean Hunter early in the career. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and Finance from McGill University, CPA certifications from Illinois CPA Society and CPA Ontario, and TEP designation from STEP Canada.
