Sean Dillane, CISSP, is an experienced professional with a strong background in information security and infrastructure management. Sean currently serves as the Vice President and Information Security Officer at Advocus National Title Insurance Company, where they lead the Information Security function and is responsible for establishing and maintaining security policies, compliance, risk assessments, and protection of assets and information. Prior to this role, Sean was the Director of Infrastructure at ATG, where they managed the delivery of IT services, recruitment, vendor contract management, and implemented a multi-cloud strategy. Sean also worked as a Senior Infrastructure Architect at ATG, designing and implementing information systems to support the enterprise infrastructure. Before transitioning to the private sector, Sean served in the US Navy as a Petty Officer Third Class, specializing in Aviation Machinist Mate.

Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems at National Louis University. Sean also obtained an Associates degree in Applied Science from Robert Morris University in Illinois.
In addition to their academic achievements, Sean has obtained various certifications to enhance their professional qualifications. Sean completed the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification offered by (ISC)² in July 2021. Furthermore, they have pursued multiple certifications through LinkedIn, including IT and Cybersecurity Risk Management Essential Training, Leveraging ChatGPT for Smarter Cybersecurity, Working with the PCI DSS 4.0 Compliance Requirements, Building and Managing a Cybersecurity Program, Measuring and Managing Top Cyber Risks, and Safeguarding Customer Credit Card Data: PCI Compliance, all obtained in 2023. Sean also completed the CCSP Cert Prep series on Cloud Platform and Infrastructure Security, Cloud Application Security, Cloud Concepts, Architecture, and Design, and Cloud Data Security in 2021. Additionally, they obtained the Microsoft Cloud Services certification for SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and Skype for Business Online in 2019.
