Jeff Barrington

Jeff Barrington currently serves as the Associate Vice President for IT and Chief Information Security Officer at Texas Tech University, a position held since March 2016. Additionally, Barrington has been the Assistant Vice President for IT and Information Security Officer since September 2010 and has also worked as the Managing Director of Technology Support at the same institution. Previous experience includes roles as a Network Engineer at Mandry Technology Solutions and as a Systems Engineer at AT&T Mobility. Barrington began a career in technology after serving as Military Police in the US Army from November 1988 to September 1996. Barrington holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Texas Tech University and a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from the University of Phoenix.
