Angel Salamanca Cardona

Angel Salamanca Cardona is an experienced professional currently serving as the Country Manager for Iberia at Yapily since October 2021. Previously, Angel held the role of Director of Open Business Innovation at Santander España, where responsibilities included strategizing open banking services and leading the PSD2 project. Angel has also contributed as a lecturer on mobile payments and open banking, co-founded a venture capital fund for digital startups, and worked at BBVA as a Product Owner focused on Open APIs. Earlier experience includes consulting at PwC, research at Beijing University of Aeronautics & Astronautics, and roles at everis. Angel possesses a diverse educational background with multiple degrees, including an MBA and programs in digital business and fintech from prestigious institutions.
