Derk Busser

Derk Busser is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in product management and development. At Adyen from November 2020 to November 2024, Derk held multiple leadership positions, including VP Product - Global Head of Payment Solution, VP Product - In Person Payments, and VP Product - Point of Sale. As the founder and developer of Wingmate from January 2016 to January 2020, Derk created a dating app known as Wingmat.ch. Additionally, Derk founded Diamonds11, a game development project that involved re-creating a game previously enjoyed on another system. Prior to these roles, Derk served as an Omnichannel Product Owner at de Bijenkorf, focusing on various innovative projects, and held the position of Founder and Owner at 2cube, where web design and development services were provided to small and medium enterprises. Derk earned a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Systems Engineering, Policy Analysis and Management from Delft University of Technology, along with experience as a graduate student at Keio University.
