Elise Hirata

Elise Hirata is an experienced professional in partnerships and alliances, currently serving as the Channel Partnerships Manager at Adyen since June 2025. Prior to this role, Elise held various positions at Shopify from June 2019 to May 2025, including Senior Partner Development Manager, Strategic Partner Manager, and Partner Manager for Japan, where significant achievements included nearly tripling the number of active partners in the country within a year. From April 2017 to June 2019, Elise was instrumental in establishing the Partnership division at Scubism inc., focusing on partner alliances operations, sales, and marketing. Elise began a career in retail as a Sales Associate at Urban Research from July 2014 to January 2016, engaging in customer service and store management. Elise holds a Bachelor of Economics degree from Kwansei Gakuin University and has also participated in an exchange program at The University of British Columbia.
