Mary Nielsen

Mary Nielsen is a seasoned content designer and strategist with extensive experience in leading content initiatives at Adyen since August 2020, where roles have included Lead Content Designer and Principal Content Designer. Previously, Nielsen contributed as a UX Content Strategist at Mailchimp and Gliffy. A background in academia includes teaching English at UC Davis, where multiple awards, such as the Celeste Turner Wright Award, were received. Mary Nielsen is also an accomplished athlete, having been a varsity letter winner and scholarship recipient in field hockey at Duke University, where a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature was earned with High Distinction, followed by a Master’s in Poetry from UC Davis. Key achievements include a significant increase in readership on various platforms and recognition on Dean’s Lists and All ACC Academic team.
