Virginie Melaine-Christensen is a seasoned finance and payments professional with extensive experience in leadership roles across various industries. Currently serving as Country Manager for France and holding multiple senior positions at Adyen since February 2017, Virginie has a strong background in account management and payments solutions. Prior to Adyen, Virginie worked at Burberry for nearly eight years, focusing on omni-channel payments and financial management across Europe. Virginie's early career includes significant financial roles at TUI Travel Plc, Danone Waters, Philip Morris Limited, and Air France, complemented by a strong educational foundation with a degree in Business Management from EU Business School and a CIMA qualification. Additionally, Virginie is an active member of The Circle, a community fostering women in the payments ecosystem.
