Doug Lorenzen has a diverse range of work experience, starting in 2011 as the Director of Development for Daily Hope with Rick Warren, where they designed and launched a media platform that provides daily inspirational content. From 2011 to 2015, they also served as the Director of Development for The Daniel Plan, working with well-known figures such as Rick Warren, Dr. Oz, Dr. Mark Hyman, and Dr. Daniel Amen.
In 2016, Doug joined Talespin as the CFO, responsible for capital campaigns and strategy for the virtual and augmented reality product studio. Doug stayed in this role until 2018 before becoming the Advisory CFO for Raven and Tapin2, where they provided financial guidance and support.
In 2017, Doug was appointed as the Vice President of the Los Angeles Chapter for the VR AR Association, a global community focused on virtual reality and augmented reality.
From 2018 to 2020, Doug served as a Partner at Moore Venture Partners, an advisory CFO at Raven, and an advisory CFO at Tapin2. In these roles, they provided strategic and financial advice to various companies.
In 2019, Doug joined Vessel as an Advisory CFO, a position they held until 2022 when they joined Awaken Capital as a Partner. Awaken Capital is an early-stage venture capital firm investing in tech-enabled platforms.
Most recently, in 2021, Doug began working as an Advisory CFO for AE Studio. Overall, Doug Lorenzen has extensive experience in finance, venture capital, and product development in the tech industry.
Doug Lorenzen attended Pepperdine University from 2000 to 2004. During this time, they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration.
