Derek Darves-Bornoz

Derek Darves-Bornoz is currently the VP of Data Analytics at AEA Investors. Prior to this, they served as the Co-Head of Data Science at Millennium from July 2018 to July 2021. Before that, they were the Vice President, Data Science at 7Park Data from January 2017 to June 2018, where they led the Data Science group and created high quality data products. Derek has also been an instructor at the NYC Data Science Academy from January 2016 to June 2018. From October 2011 to January 2017, they served as a Senior Data Scientist at the Church Pension Group. From August 2008 to September 2011, they were a Supervisory Education Fellow at New York Presbyterian Hospital. Prior to that, they were a Data Analyst at Oregon Research Institute from August 2004 to August 2006.

Derek Darves-Bornoz holds a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from Reed College and a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Sociology from the University of Oregon.
