Mdumiseni Maphumulo

Mdumiseni Maphumulo is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as Engineering Manager at AECI Limited since November 2023, while also contributing as a member of the Board of Advisors for TWIMS Alumni since January 2023. Previously, Mdumiseni held the position of Project Manager at Tongaat Hulett and served as Maintenance Lead at SAPREF from June 2020 to April 2023. A significant portion of Mdumiseni's career was spent at SAPREF, where responsibilities included mechanical maintenance engineering roles focusing on plant maintenance, safety practices, and operational performance. Mdumiseni possesses a comprehensive educational background, including an MBA from GIBS Business School, and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of KwaZulu-Natal.
