Catarina Costa

Catarina Costa is a Graduate Building Sustainability Consultant at AECOM since September 2023, with previous experience as a Mechanical Engineering Intern at Arup and various roles during academic tenure at the University of the West of England (UWE). Catarina served as the Lead Department Representative for the Architecture and Built Environment, advocating for over 1000 students' interests in university decision-making. As President of the Built Environment Society, Catarina organized events and supported projects, while also contributing as a Sustainability Officer and Committee Member. Internships with Useful Projects and UWE offered practical experience in sustainability-related tasks and zero carbon initiatives. Catarina holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Architecture and Environmental Engineering from UWE and a High School Diploma in Science and Technology from Instituto Nun'Alvres.
