Jaidev Sankar

Jaidev Sankar is a seasoned executive in the civil engineering and transit industries, currently serving as the Transit Strategy & Growth Lead for AECOM since June 2025. With a robust background, Jaidev held the position of Vice President of Infrastructure Project Delivery at Amtrak from June 2022 to June 2025, overseeing a $30 billion capital program and leading a team of over 200 professionals. Prior experience includes a tenure as Vice President at HNTB, managing large transit programs, and several roles at AECOM between 2001 and 2014, including Package Manager for the Second Avenue Subway project. Jaidev began a career at Jacobs as a Project Engineer after earning a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering from Columbia University and a Bachelor’s degree from Lehigh University.
