Neil Banerjee, CEng, is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in infrastructure and engineering management. Currently serving as Operations Director and Office of Risk Management Lead at AECOM since June 2012, Neil oversees operational risk management and project reviews while driving profitability and growth for AECOM’s business in India. Neil has held several key positions within AECOM, including Regional Director for Heavy Infrastructure in North East and East India, and Regional Director for the Kolkata office. Prior to AECOM, Neil contributed as Engineering Manager at Transtonnelstroy Afcons Joint Venture and Assistant General Manager of Design at AFCONS Infrastructure Limited, focusing on underground metro projects. Neil's earlier roles include Associate Principal Consultant at STUP Consultants and Assistant Engineer at Consulting Engineering Services (I) Pvt Ltd, where expertise in bridge design was cultivated. Academic qualifications include a Master of Structural Engineering from IIEST, Shibpur, and a Bachelor of Civil Engineering from Jadavpur University.
