George Bekhit

George Bekhit has extensive experience in project controls and management within the construction and real estate sectors. At Aecon Group Inc., from June 2011 to April 2014, George served as Project Controls Director - Corporate, playing a key role in the bid and initiation stages of the significant REM project in Montreal, and developed best practices that were adopted company-wide. Prior to this, as Project Review Manager, George was instrumental in creating the Operational Audit Group to enhance risk management across Aecon's operations. Following that, George worked at NouvLR from February 2017 to August 2019, where responsibilities included maintaining Key Performance Indicators and managing risk awareness initiatives. Previous roles include Project Controls Manager at TSI for Project Management and Carillion Canada, and Operations Manager at AREC Real Estate Development, overseeing major projects in Dubai. George holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration from Heriot-Watt University.
