Mustafa Khalid

Mustafa Khalid has a strong background in project controls and process improvement. Mustafa started their career at Kiewit, where they held various roles including Project Controls Leader and Project Controls Manager. Mustafa also worked as a Project Engineer and Field Engineer/Planner during this time. In 2017, they joined Deloitte Canada as a Financial Advisory Senior Associate before moving to Tenfour in 2018. At Tenfour, they worked as an Independent Consultant, specializing in process improvement and organizational agility. In 2020, they joined Aecon Group Inc. as a Project Controls Manager and quickly progressed to Senior Project Controls Manager and then Project Controls Director. Overall, Mustafa Khalid has a diverse range of experience in project controls, process improvement, and financial advisory.

Mustafa Khalid completed their education at several institutions. In 2001-2002, they attended Port Moody Secondary School. Mustafa later obtained a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from the British Columbia Institute of Technology. In 2016, they completed a Master's in Engineering Leadership, specializing in Strategy and Operations, from The University of British Columbia. Mustafa also earned a Coursera Online Certificate in Business and Financial Modeling from The Wharton School. Additionally, they have obtained various certifications, including a Government of Canada Security Clearance in 2018, and the Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) certification from Engineers and Geoscientists BC in 2012. Mustafa has also completed courses in entrepreneurship, data analytics, and managerial economics through institutions such as Lynda.com.
