Jelle Feringa is responsible for accelerating the technology to produce tailor-made building products at a mass scale. While previously founding EZCT Architecture and Design Research and working on his PhD thesis at Hyperbody TU Delft, Jelle established a full robotics lab at the RDM innovation dock in Rotterdam, which led to the technological foundation for Odico Formwork Robotics, which he co-founded. He exhibited at the Barbican Gallery, London Design Miami/Basel and Centre Pompidou, Paris, and his fabrication technology has been involved in the realization of several high-profile construction projects, including work of Zaha Hadid Architects and Studio Olafur Eliasson. He is an open-source developer, a long-term contributor of the pythonocc CAD kernel project, and fascinated by stereotomy and powertools.
